Explore My Work

I can tell you all day how great my work is, but as any writer knows… what really matters is that I can show you the results.

Looking for something specific or a few extra samples for one type of content? Let me know, I can send you samples upon request.

Rag magazine

Rag is an indie motorcycle magazine for women motorcyclists, designed, written, edited and curated by Alexa with the help of some of her fellow lady bikers.

Flip through old issues of most biker mags and a very specific picture of a motorcyclist starts to emerge. One that doesn’t paint the best, or most accurate, image of women & gender non-conforming people who love to ride.

Rag exists to inspire more humans to get on two wheels and embrace the freedom of riding.

“A story is merely a vehicle to show change, but more importantly... they're a way to create it.”

provincial magazine

It’s time to uncouple from the frenetic pace of our current life and celebrate the craftspeople, artisans, and sustainable producers of the world.

Pick up a copy of Provincial to relish in the wisdom of bookbinders, bakers, regenerative farmers, and more. long-form sales page:
luxury goddess retreat

For a luxury, goddess retreat experience it takes a special edge to hit the pain points without boring the badass, power babes that would be willing to drop $6k on a week long retreat.

One rule of copywriting is “the bigger the ticket price, the longer the sales page needs to be”.

With this in mind the Full Moon Goddess Retreat landing page was a long long-form sales page–packed with information, testimonials, and copy that positioned this retreat as the cure for a busy, successful woman who needs to fill her cup back up with love & adventure.

“Alexa has become an integral part of my business! She’s like the Swiss army knife of copy and content and I’ll keep using her vast skillset for every project I work on. I personally suck at writing and Alexa brings my copy to life for all of my web projects and has been instrumental in helping me powerfully identify and message to my target audience. She’s mastered the art of balancing professionalism, creativity, and massive impact. I highly regard and recommend this badass lady!”

Christa Clark, Founder @ Freelance Foundation

I cannot overstate the pleasure it is to work with Alexa. Her ability to bring out the best in me and my project is, in my experience, unparalleled. As an aspiring freelance writer, I was taking notes the entire time. She’s an inspiration to me for sure! Hands down, the best freelance-hire experience I’ve had. I’d work with her again 1,000 times over. One part quirky. One part fun. Ten parts competent. Alexa is the real deal and I feel super fortunate to have worked with her. Highly recommend.

Cameron Brown, Co-Founder @ Cleantech Rising

Alexa is both creatively talented and strategically sharp as a tack! She not only communicates in an extremely timely manner, but is excellent at expressing her ideas. She updated the look of my website so that it is beautiful and very current. And she not only created a social media strategy for me, but she created beautiful content that I can use all year.

Jennifer Robinson, Peaceful Living Wellness

Running a Marketing Agency we've worked on some large projects, budgets & clients. We had a need for custom content creation for Social Media. We've worked with our share of writers. Alexa's work not only exceeded our expectations but the clients as well. We immediately received a message form the client upon completion "Wow!! I love what you have put together." Alexa is VERY talented, took time to understand the clients needs & industry. Serving as the President of the agency & overseeing all of our projects I've worked with a LOT of writers. Alexa is by far the best I've worked with from the quality of her work, in-depth research & delivering on a timely schedule.

Steve Bouboulis, President @ The Branding Agency

Alexa is sharp as a tack. She's witty, eloquent and aesthetically smart. I love working with her because she gets excited about our projects and cranks out great ideas constantly. She makes it look effortless.

FAQ

How do we get started?

The first step is to have a quick chat about your project, this usually takes around 30 minutes. From there, I'll send you a detailed proposal that covers cost, timeline, and the info I need from you to begin. Once you approve the proposal and pay a 50% deposit, we're officially started!

Can we do a test project first?

Absolutely, and this is especially advisable for especially large projects to discover in advance how well we work as a team. I recommend a single a-la-carte email or article, or a mini test where we discuss the topic and I deliver a partial piece for a partial fee.

What do you need from me?

We'll go over the list of what I need from you in your proposal, but the general rule is that the more information you can give me on your target audience the better our results will be. I can do research on my own, but any persona, positioning, psychographics or demographics you can share with me will improve our initial conversion rates.

How long will this take?

That depends on the scope of your project, naturally. I'll provide you with a timing estimate in my initial proposal and rush projects are available for an additional fee. Need it immediately? Ask me about my day rate for the quickest turnaround on urgent projects.

How much is this going to cost?

You can get a rough idea of what your project fee could be from my pricing page, but plan for a flat rate project fee. Your most economical option will be to plan your projects in advance and book it as a package, but a-la-carte and hourly options are available on a case by case basis.

How do I protect my intellectual property?

Helping your business thrive is one of my top priorities, and that includes protecting any insider information or intellectual property you deal with. My background in the wellness & healthcare industries left me well versed in privacy protection. I'll happily sign an NDA in our contracting phase should you prefer to work under one.
